Battery Energy Storage

Scalable. Bankable. Built in the USA.

EnQuest engineers and manufactures battery energy storage enclosures for utility developers, EPCs, and commercial and industrial operators who need a manufacturing partner that executes at speed without cutting corners on quality. Turnkey, UL 9540-compliant, battery-agnostic, from 1 MW to gigawatt scale. Engineering, fabrication, testing, and commissioning under one roof, in the USA.

The numbers that matter:

  • 1 MW to gigawatt scalable platform.

  • UL 9540 compliant enclosures.

  • Zero concrete foundations required.

  • 100% USA manufactured, IRA domestic content eligible.

The failure point isn't the battery. It's the enclosure.

Most BESS defects don't happen at the cell. They happen during enclosure integration: fire detection miswiring, coolant leaks, seal failures that let water in and corrosion start. And they don't get discovered in a factory. They get discovered at the site, during commissioning, when a schedule slip turns into a warranty dispute and a financing-covenant problem.

The developers and EPCs who have been burned by offshore container defects know this is the real risk. EnQuest exists to take it off the table by building and testing the complete enclosure before it ships.

Built to survive commissioning

Factory-complete and load-tested before shipment. Small and medium enclosures arrive fully populated and tested at full load. The integration defects that normally surface at the site are caught and resolved at the factory, so your schedule survives the commissioning phase.

CFD-validated thermal management. Inadequate thermal design is a silent margin killer that accelerates capacity fade and triggers warranty claims. EnQuest validates thermal performance with computational fluid dynamics analysis before the system is built, protecting cycle life and asset value.

No concrete foundation. EnQuest's galvanized steel skid base distributes weight evenly, eliminating the concrete pad. That removes site preparation time, cost, and permitting complexity before the first battery is even installed.

Battery-agnostic by design. The platform accommodates multiple OEM (original equipment manufacturer) suppliers and chemistries, including LFP and NMC. Developers keep negotiating leverage and supply chain resilience instead of being locked into a single cell vendor.

Scalable across the project lifecycle. Modular enclosure architecture fits everything from small C&I installations to utility-scale projects, so a developer keeps one vendor relationship as scope changes with interconnection terms and offtake requirements.

Bankable, and built for the financing conversation

A BESS project lives or dies on whether it can be financed and hit its commercial operation date. EnQuest is engineered around exactly the questions a lender, offtaker, or tax-equity partner will ask:

UL 9540 compliant, so the system clears AHJ approval rather than stalling COD.

US-manufactured, providing a clean path to IRA domestic content bonus credits without a compliance scramble.

ISO 9001:2015 certified, with factory acceptance testing at full load and a documented QA/QC process, so capacity and cycle-life guarantees are defensible before the system ships.

Every box a project lender asks about is checked before the PO is signed.

One vendor owns the outcome

When enclosure, battery, and integration are sourced separately, no single vendor owns the result, and when something goes wrong, you get a finger-pointing match instead of a resolution.

EnQuest delivers the full stack in-house: engineering, fabrication, paint and blast, assembly, QA/QC, testing, delivery, and commissioning. One US facility. One accountable vendor. No subcontracted integration gaps. When something needs resolving, there is one team to call.

Proven where it's hardest

EnQuest's battery storage work includes a hurricane-resistant microgrid for a Florida Air Force Base, with NEMA 3R enclosures engineered and validated to withstand 165 mph winds, protecting mission-critical power in the most hurricane-prone region of the country.

When the requirement is survival, the engineering shows.
