Wireline Equipment

Canadian-built wireline and slickline units, engineered to perform.

EnLine is EnQuest's wireline equipment line, based in Calgary and serving the Canadian market. EnLine designs, builds, refurbishes, and supports wireline and slickline units, with a team that brings direct, field-informed experience in wireline operations, engineering, electrical systems, hydraulics, fabrication, and service. That is why an EnLine unit is built to be practical, serviceable, and suited to the way the work actually gets done, not just to a spec sheet.

Every unit is engineered, fabricated, and tested in EnQuest's Calgary facility, customized to the customer's configuration, and built under EnQuest's quality system.

A Canadian operation

EnLine wireline equipment is designed and built in Calgary, Alberta, for Canadian wireline and slickline operators. From fabrication through parts, service, and lifecycle support, this is a Canadian capability run out of EnQuest's Calgary operations.

Built around your operation

EnLine does not sell a fixed catalog. Each unit is configured to the customer's application, environment, and preferences, from drum and drawworks setup to cabin layout, power options, and measuring systems. Tell EnLine what you need and the team engineers to it.

Wireline and slickline units

Mast units. Working heights of 55 and 65 feet with up to 8,000 lb single-line pull, over-center reach up to 15 feet from bumper to wellhead, slant working capability, and in-mast hydraulic lubricator clamps to secure the lubricator during transport. Single and double drum configurations for braided and slickline applications.

Derrick units. Single-piece derricks with 53-foot working height and up to 12,000 lb single-line pull, adjustable rear work platform, auxiliary hoist-rated winches, and front and rear outriggers.

Pump-down skids. Electric-over-hydraulic single-piece skid units for pump-down operations, with a standalone cabin bolted to the skid, forklift pockets and lifting lugs for easy moving, and 480V three-phase power.

Hybrid iron trailers. Units engineered to run electric over hydraulic via shore power or tractor PTO, suited to any site situation, with centralized grease points and removable below-deck compartments for far easier servicing.

Configuration options

Every EnLine unit can be specified to the customer's requirements, including:

Power flexibility. Electric-over-hydraulic operation via shore power or tractor PTO, with 10, 20, and 30 kW hydraulic gensets and battery inverter systems available.

Drum and drive. Drum sizes up to 48 inches, single and double drum configurations, chain drive or direct drive, and brake band or disc brake options.

Measuring systems. Customer-choice measuring for speed, depth, and tension, front-mount or overhead spooler.

Operator environment. Wide-angle viewing windows with heated-glass option, multiple rooftop AC and heat options for any climate, ergonomic control consoles, two-zone dimmable LED interior lighting with red-light option, and customized cabinetry and storage.

Custom skids and drum designs

EnLine designs and builds custom drums and skid packages for slickline and braided applications, including drum designs up to 52 inches, sprocket-driven or direct-drive planetary drums, stainless steel and split-drum configurations, and dynamic balancing for larger drums.

All drums are third-party MPI or LPI tested.

EnLine also provides drum inspection and repair, bearing and sprocket replacement, and in-house prep and paint, so a worn drum does not mean a new unit.

Engineered and serviced in Calgary

EnLine units are designed, fabricated, assembled, and tested in EnQuest's Calgary facility. The same team that builds the equipment supports it through parts, service, and lifecycle support, so the relationship continues long after delivery.
